The attached vCard, when imported into the TB address book, creates an empty card. This vCard has been successfully imported into other address books - for example, the OSX address book.

The address book has only ever supported vcard spec 2.0 (and maybe a little 2.1) - see bug 221991 and bug 29106 - the card is v3, so I suspect that is likely to be a big part of the problem.

I generate these vCards using a Ruby library (http://vpim.rubyforge.org/classes/Vpim/Vcard.html) and it supports exporting as 2.1. I guess I can corroborate Mike Banner's statement, because the 2.1 card gives me the same result (I'll see if I can attach it here). There's no way for me to generate 2.0 vCard, so I guess I'll just move on to LDIF.
