When I start on the start page (about:home), tap on a "top site", finish with that site, and then hit back, I expect to end up back on about:home. Instead, I exit the app.
This kinda works for me. When I go back the page is blank, because we are not sending the message to Java to display the page.

Madhava - Are you sure you did not open the page in a new tab?

Attached patch patchSplinter Review
This patch uses "pageshow" instead of "load" events. History session does not fire "load" when going back or forward if the page is in BFcache.
