I attempted to install things myself but got as far as I could do without the mysql root password required to connect to the DB.

This is currently being held on the festival2.vm1.labs.sjc1.mozilla.com VM in /var/www/splash.mozilla-ignite.org/blog/ and can be accessed on the front-end by www.mozillaignite/blog/
OK - so we've made a little bit of progress and have successfully installed the blog!

Unfortunately I'm unable to log into it, it seems to get stuck in a loop due to a security error surrounding secure and non-secure content. I think this is a bit out of my technical grasp to get to the bottom of this...
I can try and help some, but can you please send me the wordpress admin user/pass ?
Thanks for this Gozer.

Have emailed you the username/password that I set up for it.

Doesn't look like it's there:

pchiasson@festival2:/etc/apache2/sites-enabled# hostname
festival2.vm1.labs.sjc1.mozilla.com
pchiasson@festival2:/etc/apache2/sites-enabled# ls -l /var/www

Looks like you might have meant ignite1.vm1.labs.sjc1.mozilla.com ?
Fixed, the problem is that the site url was entered as http:// and not https://

The side-effect of this is that the login form was posting to HTTP and Zeus was redirecting to HTTPS, loosing the POST data.

Thanks for that - working like a charm.

Sorry for all the mis-information on the bugs - don't know what I was thinking when I put that in. Well I do, it was probably something along the lines of 'arrgghh, what have I done wrong' :)

Again, many thanks!
