Web page or screen you were on when you saw the issue: I had four tabs open to various site, one with flash, one at support.mozilla.org and two others. I haven't seen this home screen crash in nativeUI until the last couple of days.

Steps to reproduce:
1. open a few tabs and browse around for 10 minutes.
2. tap the home button on the hardware device (to get to my email, for example)
3. HTC home screen crashes with white screen.

What you expected: ecpected to be able to go to my home screen and open another application with seeing the white HTC screen and reloading my home screen.

If the phone is not rebooting then this sounds like bug 681705. Which we can't do anything about. Android will kill any running program to free memory including the home screen interface.

I'm a little surprised to hear that we can't do anything about this since it is the goal of the nativeUI project to use less memory. I didn't see HTC sense crashes regularly on nativeUI until this week, so could it be that something has changed that increased memory usage recently?
