Details
The email tiger gif on the bottom part of this page slowly drifts to the left and disapears under the menu DIV of this CSS fixed positioning page. It does this even though there is no scripting language or Java at that location. If you check the other version of this page (with a table layout) at http://members.truepath.com/ron/oldIndex.html the tiger gif stays in the same place.

I see that problem on linux as well, with build 2001-03-05-05

I'm not seeing the problem with todays build 2001030904 on WINNT. Marking this bug fixed. There was a recent checkin which prevent's animated gifs from causing reflows. My guess is that was what was causing the original problem.
