Updates no longer gets downloaded after selecting "download & install" from the notification bar

Today I have seen that I still have a Fennec build from 2012-12-07 because Fennec does not download any update. The notification bar I get on a regular basis and I also select "Download & Install", but once Fennec has been opened there is no UI to start the download nor any warning that something went wrong. Fennec just sits there and opens the last session. That's all.

Not sure where to check for errors and warnings in the new native UI.
Updater was messed up by a code change for Nightly builds. You need to download and install a new build from http://nightly.mozilla.org

Please dupe to the original bug which has solved the problem. For now marking as WFM because it has been fixed.
