There seems to be a shadow cutting through the middle of the awesomescreen header that we should remove. 

I am seeing this in Aurora on a Galaxy Nexus.

The awesomescreen section header treatment is wrong too (squared off highlight blocks, vertical lines between them, etc.)

Could you please post a screenshot of this? I believe it's the same issue as bug 717681.
I don't see this issue anymore. Please reopen if this issue is still seen.
