When I use system restore on Firefox 10 after closing it myself, if I had multiple windows open, all windows are restored, but the additional windows are not restored to the full size, or even the size they were at when closing Firefox. Instead, they are opened at a minimal-like size (see attached screenshot for reference).

Did you detach any monitors or change your resolution?

I'm using a MacBook Pro running Lion with no additional monitors. I made no changes to my screen resolution simply because only the additional windows (i.e., those that were part of the session restore but not the base window from which Firefox was re-opened and the session was restored) were affected.

If you haven't restarted Firefox since, can you extract size information from each window in sessionstore.bak (looks like "width":813,"height":671,"screenX":192,"screenY":183,"sizemode":"normal")

With that information we can hopefully figure out if we saved the wrong information and faithfully restored that, or if we messed up when restoring.

Sure, if you can walk me through (or point me to info on) how to do that :-)
