User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:9.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/9.0.1 Build ID: 20111220165912 Steps to reproduce: New laptop, Dell XPS17 2D video. Intel HD Graphics 3000 Fresh install Firefox 9.0.1 Actual results: Exellent results in ie Fishtank over 400 fish on 60fps. So acceleration works. But, no hover over the security check. No option given to save password. Hardware acceleration off. Gives poor fishtank. but option to save password.

You updated your video driers to the latest version, right ? Please try one version older, this looks like a bug in the latest video driver. Post also the graphic section from about:support (enetr as URL in FF) into this bug report. This is dupe but i want to be sure that the user is using the latest driver.

You have the an combined Intel/nvidia system. That looks like a bug in the graphic card driver. I will dupe this bug to bug 716335
