In the forum, Post a new thread is just a link at the top of the forum.  We should probably make it a button so it's easier to see.  (I think we can just style it? -- I'm rather fond of the green vote button style)
Yeah, that sounds good. I'll file another bug to remove the two eyes, looks pretty creepy.
