Using Tbird 9.0.1 I cannot highlight attachments in the message compose window. Clicking on an attachment in the list does select it as confirmed by pressing the DEL key, but there is no visual indication of which attachment is selected.

EXPECTED:
The currently selected attachment should be highlighted.

Are you using a custom theme? This definitely works under the default theme on Windows 7 with Thunderbird 9.0.1 (I just tried it).

Attachment: The "chiclet teeth" effect

I was using a theme. I had been using it for so long that I forgot Thunderbird didn't normally look that way. I switched back to the default theme for testing and my eyes tried to commit suicide when the mass of floating opaque buttons appeared on the transparent window background. Still, I was able to test and the highlighting did work, but I don't think it's worth it :)
