User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:12.0a2) Gecko/20120210 Firefox/12.0a2 SeaMonkey/2.9a2 Build ID: 20120210013001 Steps to reproduce: RFE: Command Line Option to disable plugins, much like how -safe-mode works for disabling extensions. So something like: seamonkey.exe -no-plugins (or -disable-plugins -plugin-disable or ...). Actual results: Browser opens normally. Expected results: Browser should open with plugins disabled. Having this as an option should prove useful for troubleshooting, I would think. If/when disable.plugin works interactively (without restart), that would help, but still a command-line option would be beneficial.

I'll note that SeaMonkey's Safe Mode (GUI) offers an option to "Disable all add-ons", which /does/ also disable Plugins. http://kb.mozillazine.org/images/SM2SafeMode.png Though still, a command-line option would be nice.

We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160), so I think this bug is irrelevant now.
