It would be good to know how many users on Windows Vista and Windows 7 have disabled the Firefox button, as well as know how many users on Windows XP have enabled the Firefox button.

I have seen cases where users are on Windows Vista and Windows 7 without the Firefox button and they claim to have never seen the Firefox button before. These users also didn't migrate from Windows XP on their machines.

Interesting... How would the telemetry probe help figuring out how widespread that is, though? It would need to somehow differentiate between intentional and unintentional customizations.
Yeah... that's the hard part about this. It will be impossible to differentiate those reasons.
