Steps to reproduce:

after returning to a previous imap account folder, the last read message is selected by default

clicking on delete selected msg (which is enabled) a warning pops up, Are you sure you want to delete the folder _FOLDER_?

it is necessary to cancel and click again on the message to get real focus so it can be deleted


Actual results:

after changing to another folder no message is selected, one of the following occurs

- preview pane stays blank
- last selected message is highlighted and shown in preview pane


Expected results:

the highlighted message should be selected

NOT reproducible with DE SeaMonkey 2.35(γ)  (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:38.0 nightly by Adrian Kalla)  Gecko/20100101 Build 20150616034436 (Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit

I am not sure whether I understand all details, report is a little imprecise.

@reporter: Still a problem with 2.35.1? If yes, please 
a) Contribute a problem related step by step instruction containing every 
   key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem due to 
   <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines>
   (similar to report in Bug 1139273)
b) Attach screenshots with comments if you believe that that might explain the 
   problem better than a text comment. Best way is to insert your screenshots
   into a OOo or LibreOffice DRAW document and to add comments 
   that explain what you want to show (attach .png or PDF from source document)
c) add information 
c1) What folder? Inbox
c2) concerning your SM localization (UI language, Locale setting)
c3) SM settings that might be related to your problems 
    May be you should attach a pdf print of menu 
   'Help → Trouble shooting information”
c4) how you launch SM (Double click on document? console? …)
c5) everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts
c6) What means " returning to a previous imap account folder"? Click on folder?
c7) "preview pane" is the "Message Pane" for what <f8> toggles visibility?
d)  An URL for a web page where you observe the problem.
e) Complete list of settings you used due to recommendations of Thunderbird
  (what work) and all differences in settings due to recommendation of SeaMonkey
f) Your Email-Service-Provider (if not visible in (e))

@Reporter: Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you still can reproduce the problem with a current SeaMonkey version and a current OS and if you can contribute a step by step instruction how to reproduce the problem due to <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines>  (containing every key press and every mouse click) how to reproduce the problem reliably.
