You'll need to check out part of the mozilla.org repository, where the Thunderbird site is being stored. You can:

svn co https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/

Please translate the file in the mozilla.org svn repository for the Thunderbird 11 What's New page, that is:

/hy-AM/thunderbird/11.0/whatsnew/index.html

The page has changed significantly, so there's mostly new English text and 3 new images. I've tried to copy over the old translated text that has not changed, so you don't have to translate it all from scratch in most cases.

If you want to provide translated images, you can place them in:
https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/img/tb5/l10n/
The image names should be:
globalsearchtabsontop-hy-AM.png
tabsontopwhatsnew-hy-AM.png
tabsontopwhatsnew-hy-AM.png

Once the images are on the server, the page will automatically update the <img> tags. You do not need to change them.

The page on the staging server is:
http://www-stage.mozilla.org/hy-AM/thunderbird/11.0/whatsnew
I will raise this to Hrant.
I think I fixed it:
Committed revision 103488.

How long does it take to show up?

Normally within about 10-20 minutes. I see it here:

http://www-stage.mozilla.org/hy-AM/thunderbird/11.0/whatsnew

Normally sancus then pushes the pages live within a day.
When I paste the link on Facebook I get this on the preview:

Welcome to Thunderbird!
www-stage.mozilla.org
We hope you enjoy all the new features in Thunderbird. You can customize Thunderbird however you want, and with hundreds of add-ons to try, Thunderbird is all yours.

Is there a way to translate that?
It isn't in the page source, so I don't know where that is coming from. Note, please don't generally share the www-stage links as that's just the preview site.
I don't have the faintest clue where Facebook is pulling that text from, but can't you change FB preview text manually anyhow?
I can. Just asking if we had something else to change.
