73684 - Unable to Copy/Move messages when Select All is used

**** observed with 2001-03-27 build ****
Steps to reproduce:
- select a folder;
- go Edit|Select All; that will select all messages in the folder ( i have 4
messages that i wanted to copy/move to another folder);
- go Message menu;
//note: Copy Message and Move message are disabled

this only seems to happen if you've never selected a message in that folder.

it is happening when i've never selected a message in this folder: create a
folder, copy several messages into it and then move the whole block to another
folder- that's when it happens ( not seems to happen...)It might be a rare case
but still an exsisting one.

using 2001-08-15-06 build on win98 select all with copy and move messages is
working for me.  
Marina have you had any problems in recent builds?

sheela, it is still not working with the same scenario. As Scott pointed out the
only scenario is: create a new folder; select some messages in your Inbox( or
any folder), copy/move messages from your Inbox into the newly created folder,
select this folder after move/copy; go Edit|Select all; observe that all message
are selected; go to Message menu and note that Copy|Move messages is disabled.
Still tru for the 2001-08-14 build

This isn't just with Select All; I'm getting whenever I try to move or delete
multiple messages in the remote-server resident Inbox.  I can move one message
to another folder or delete it; I cannot move or delete more than one.

I have the same problem when I select multiple messages within a folder for
moving or copying -- it works only when I select just a single message

I have the same problem here: marking multiple messages and then trying to copy
these from IMAP to a local folder does not work with 2002061108/Linux

I've had the same problem (trying to move more than one message at once from an
IMAP folder, not Inbox, to a local folder), even using the latest Mozilla
(1.2.1) for Windows.
