Details
Tested on Windows 2000 and 98, Mozilla 2001032804 Mozilla doesn't load the url from the commandline when Mozilla is running and doesn't have an open browser window in that session. This can be an http, mailto: or news: url To reproduce: 1) Go to the mozilla bin directory 2) start mozilla.exe with -editor ("mozilla.exe -editor") 3) start mozilla.exe with an url ("mozilla.exe http://www.mozilla.org" or "mozilla.exe mailto:nobody@mozilla.org") Expected result: Mozilla.org opens in the browser, or a mail compose window. Actual result: An empty browser window. 4) Open another url from the commandline ("mozilla.exe http://www.mozilla.org") This time the url loads. Closing all browsers and keeping the editor open t) Open another url from the commandline ("mozilla.exe http://www.mozilla.org") This time the url loads. So a browser window has to be created in the session to load the url from the commandline, or first run of mozilla to load the url from the commandline.
