Steps to reproduce:

I'm installing the cyrillic keyboard layout according to the scheme (in russian)http://nexusnotes.ru/2011/06/mac-layout-switch-caps-lock . 
The file http://www.tema.ru/jjj/mefoditsa.zip  needs to be placed in  /Library/Keyboard Layouts/ and choose "Мефодица" (mefoditsa) in the list of available keyboard layouts. After this the language layouts can be switched using Caps Loocked.


Actual results:

In the Mefoditsa layout the key combinations  Cmd+C, Cmd+V, Cmd+X or Cmd+A don't work when the russian layout is chosen. The same is true for Firefox.



Expected results:

I hope these combinations should work. In all other programs they work.

Not security sensitive. You filed this under Thunderbird but mention Firefox in the bug report itself. Is this Firefox only or both Firefox and Thunderbird?

Yes, this was seen both in Firefox and Thunderbird, as well as in previous versions. Sorry I didn't figure out how to report this issue as a general one.
