Details
To those who don't have a full day being 8 hours, it's better to just say "Full day" or "Half day" instead of "8h" or "4h". Also, the summation on the dashboard ("You have taken 13 days of PTO") needs to be a count rather than a summation divided by 8. Basically, the constant 8 needs to become visually extinct.

I wonder if it even makes sense to expose the hours to HR? Perhaps the email sent to them should read "Peter has taken 3 days of PTO. This is the equivalent of 24 hours PTO in countries with 8-hour work days." (or something)
