Steps:
1. Click on a row in the thread column
Actual result:
Thread expands and select all threads (including the child threads)
But message pane still shows the previous selected message
Expected result: Multiple selection should blank out the message pane.

This occurs on all 3 platforms.

Please do not do this.  It would make less information available to the user,
not more.

Admittedly, there are better actions than the current one (which shows unrelated
info in the message pane).

But it is worse to leave all info unavailable.  It would be best to pick either
first or last message in the thread and display that.

Blanking out the pane does emphasize that there is no good way of deciding what
to show when multiple messages are selected, but I want my mail program to show
me the information that I've received easily, naturally, and with minimal
clicks, not to be "technically pure".
