We either enable the printing of all pages (including books with 1,000+ pages) or we need to reliably alert users when we know we can't handle it. We don't want to waste users' papers by printing only a part of their document/book.

Can we also add a option to print a webpage to pdf?

(In reply to magnumarchonbasileus from comment #1) > Can we also add a option to print a webpage to pdf? This is about printing support in PDF.JS - not about saving web pages to PDFs. AFAIK there is no "Save as PDF" support in Firefox on Mac, but you can save a PDF from the Mac print dialog. For other platforms, you could use a plugin like this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/save-as-pdf/ (I haven't tested this one, as I'm working on Mac...)

This bug isn't clear. - Is this a meta bug? Then it should have Meta - If not, perhaps we need STR etc. - Either way, neither summary nor description are very descriptive...

Adding pdf.js to summary to improve retrievability of this meta bug for searches and avoid duplicates
Above all the pdf should just spool through to the printing system- there are many corruption problems because pdf.js is interpreting the file and the result is far far worse than the screen view. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=880181 but there are many other similar bugs of unreadable results even on a single page print.
