When wanting to add a new tab I tapped the bar where the plus sign is instead of the actual plus sign and I get the same sound as when tapping on the sign, but no new tab. On latest Nightly, Galaxy Nexus, ICS.

Irina, are you seeing bug 734880, which was fixed awhile back? if you're still hearing clicking while tapping the bar, i think the bug should be the tapping sound, not actually launching a new tab. cc'ing finkle

Yes, I am hearing clicking. But why don't we have the whole bar trigger a new tab rather than just the left-hand corner? To me it looks like the whole bar is a button.

Ah, this happens when 'Synced Tabs >>' is added to the bar (tested via Nightly 20120524), when you don't have remote-tabs added via Sync this is unreproducible. CC'ing Sriram
