In Thunderbird 12.0.1, you can paste a comma-separated list of addresses into the "To:" field in a message compose window, then hit enter, and TB will automatically split the list into separate addresses. I think other separators besides comma also worked, but I'm not certain about that.

In Thunderbird trunk, you can't. When you paste such a list of addresses and hit enter, only the first address is preserved.

This is a serious regression.
