When I had first started looking at Bidi, I added some browser default direction stuff that really didn't work right. Now that the Bidi code is going to do the right thing, this code should be removed. Diff is attached.

Cool. I'm happy to sr this (sr=attinasi) and I'd suggest you have karnaze and/or waterson review it. BTW: did the default direction pref ever do anything but LTR? If so, some people might have been using it and might get torked by this, maybe?

I'm the only person that ever hacked it to do anything but LTR, so this shouldn't affect anyone else.
