Details

Chrome URI's do not work for shortcut folders in WIN2000/WIN NT4.0

1. Create any XUL application and register it. (non-jar version)
2. confirm it works.
3. move the application directory from the Mozilla chrome directory and replace
by a shortcut to the new location.
4. Application now doesn't work
Did you create an ntfs5 junction ( http://www.sysinternals.com )? those should
work. the other kind isn't real and shouldn't work <g>.

This falls in the category of "don't do that" if you update
installed-chrome.txt or the rdf database your app should work.

To dual boot with Win 98 my drive is formatted FAT32. Its a shame MS didn't
implement this properly.

Changing installed-chrome.txt is the way to go. THX.
