Whenever Fennec is syncing (and the Android sync icon appears at the top of the screen) the UI gets very laggy for a period of time, maybe 30 seconds.  I notice this in particular if I remove an entry from my awesome screen and that results in a Sync occurring (which isn't always).  Regardless of whether sync occurs then, the actual removal of the entry takes about 5 seconds before the "Page removed" toast comes up, and during that time the interface is laggy.

Incremental syncs should be very fast indeed.

There shouldn't be a strong causal link between your actions in the browser and a sync occurring, unless you're using XUL Fennec.

It sounds like you've got a big database, and probably a device with slow IO.

Which device are you using?
