Thanks to bug 733035, We will be able to remove following workaround from content script JS proxies: https://github.com/mozilla/addon-sdk/blob/master/packages/api-utils/lib/content/content-proxy.js#L582-607 But as this platform fix is tied to FF 14, we may wait a bit before doing so.

gabor, I tested this SDK patch against nightly and it works fine. So you platform fix looks good!

https://github.com/mozilla/addon-sdk/pull/458#issuecomment-8338348 the PR was closed after content proxies were removed (a year ago), so i'm closing the bug too.
