User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:16.0) Gecko/16.0 Firefox/16.0a1 Build ID: 20120616030538 Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable "Always ask me where to save files" on Options -> General page. (browser.download.useDownloadDir=false) 2. Browse to any place where you expect to download something. (eg http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/13.0/win32/en-US/) 3. Click on the item to download. 4. Click on the Save button Actual results: Firefix never asks where to save it and file will not downloaded Expected results: A File Save dialog box should have appeared requesting the directory

I've not been able to reproduce this locally. Have you tried with a more recent Nightly build, on a new, clean profile?
No longer blocks: ReleaseDownloadsPane

Yes, this was occurring with a clean profile. But it no longer occurs with the current nightly release. I'll close it.
