Steps to reproduce:

Open new tab


Actual results:

Thumbnails repeat, break grid and are unreadable.


Expected results:

Thumbnails of my frequently visited sites should appear in a grid.

Not normal indeed, anyway sometimes updating to new version breaks the cache system, so a simple deletion of the browser cache fixes the rendering issue.

Sadly, clearing the cache did not work. Am I supposed to do something when installing the latest version?

Sounds like you're using a theme other than default. Could you try using the default theme and see how that works? Thumbnails should appear as you just visit the sites in the new tab page grid.

That appears to have fixed it, although I will say the thumbnails don't appear too easily. Maybe after another restart my history will fill the thumbnail grid. Thanks again! I hope this helped Mozilla too.

Can you mention the exact theme that triggered this issue? This should be mentioned to the theme author so they can fix it.
