Description: I would like to schedule a brownbag titled: "Challenges to Mozilla adoption in China".

China has an internet landscape that can be substantially different from parts of the rest of the world. In this brown bag, we explore the Chinese internet environment, factors affecting Mozilla adoption in China:

* Proliferation of plugins
* Internet Explorer version skew
* Implications of text input being difficult
* Challenges of building a testing community in China

as well as some initiatives undertaken by Mozilla Online (official name of the Beijing office).

Gary Kwong is a Mozilla engineer based in Mountain View, California. This will purely be a sharing session of his own personal experience based upon a week of observation and interaction with Mozillian friends in Beijing in mid-June 2012. Thus, it does not come with any official endorsement and 100% accuracy is not guaranteed.
