Steps to reproduce:

Close any tab page (like a message tab page) by clicking on the "Close button" in right upper conner of the tab page. Move accendently the mouse down before releasing the mouse button.


Actual results:

A new Thunderbird application is launched !


Expected results:

Tab page should be closed and nothing else.

that's not a new thunderbird application, it's a new thunderbird window, and the feature is really just tear away tabs, where you drag drop a tab to open it in a new window.
