Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1
Build ID: 20120614114901

Steps to reproduce:

Connected wirelessly to router @ 70 Mbps

Logged onto the mobile Web interface for my Seagate GoFlex Home, navigated to a folder containing videos in various formats (mp4, wmv, mpeg, etc). Selected a video to play.

Actual results:

Screen changed to show just the selected video (correct)

Black rectangle shown where player is, with play button (correct)

Pressed play button, screen showed a "waiting" dot going round in a circle (correct)

After a small wait, a cross is shown, and the video does not play.

Tried with Opera mini, and Dolphin HD, both worked flawlessly.

Expected results:

Video should be played. Should switch to full-screen when handset is rotated.
We currently don't support native MP4/AAC/MP3H.264 hardware decoding but we're looking to have it in Gecko soon. Tracking bug 748351, with bug 759945 for Android implementation.
