The website hosting for the Vietnamese community is currently at MediaTemple. The Vietnamese community is developing a new site and we wish to take this opportunity to move the hosting from MediaTemple to OVH in line with the other community sites we are hosting at OVH.

This bug is a request to open a new account at OVH for mozilla.vn as well as to close the current MediaTemple hosting of mozilla.vn

Administrators of the new OVH account should include: gen@mozilla.com, cmpitg@gmail.com, vuhung16plus@gmail.com

:gen please create a new account at https://www.ovh.co.uk/cgi-bin/nic/newNic.cgi and give me your username/NIC handle.  Once I have that, I'll order the server.  Also, please let me know what kind of hosting/resources you'll need.  Take a look at https://www.ovh.ie/vps/ and pick a plan.
Eric, I'm not going to be involved in the development of the site. Could IT handle the account creation? A 20 Euro/month account should be enough.
:gen, usually a community member creates the OVH account, so they can manage the VPS themselves.
Is this request to have Mozilla IT manage the VPS or the Vietnamese community can do it?
The Vietnamese community can do this. Vu Hung can administer the account.

Here is my desired username: vuhung

VPS: Level 3 or 2.
 I prefer level if affordable

Storage: 100GB should be better

System: Linux

Pierros, Vietnamese community has requested an OVH hosting at level 3 VPS with 100GB of disk.  Please approve.
This is already approved as per comment #2 . Please proceed :)
I ordered the VPS, waiting for OVH to provision it.
You should see the VPS now under your account.
Feel free to reinstall the OS with your preferred distribution.
As a suggestion, take a look at my blog post [1] for useful hints on how to properly manage the server.

One issue left is how to point the domain mozilla.vn

I am unable to get the whois information for the mozilla.vn domain, but it doesn't seem to be managed by Mozilla IT.
The person who controls the DNS for the domain should point the relevant entries to the new IP when the site is migrated.
Let me know how I can help further.
1. Please reopen this issue, it is not done ;)
2. Regarding domain mozilla.vn, I think that
   mrz at mozilla.com and/or
   gen at mozilla.com
has permission over the domain.

FYI, this is how to point DNS to OVH:

Mozilla owns this domain and it is managed by MarkMonitor. Please contact MarkMonitor to have the DNS updated.
I can tell that the domain is not in our DNS configs. And I can't find the bug where the domain was purchased by us and set up in our DNS.
If you have the bug, please send it to me.
Otherwise, I am also CC'ing Shyam who has access to MarkMonitor to see if it's there.

Looks like http://www.mozilla.vn/ is pointed to OVH's host now.
