We currently have issues with mouse events not being forwarded to content from chrome. We should check to make sure that all appropriate events are being forwarded as necessary.

marking this complete. we can file individual bugs on specific issues. Generally precise input should be delivering standard dom events. Touch input fires tap events which get translated. We picks and chose how those get generated based on the situation.
