This bug is about modifying the site to install packaged apps where appropriate.  If an app is packaged it's simply a matter of adjusting install() to installPackage():

>    installPackage(packageURL, options)

Note that this works only on B2G. (And z.capabilities.chromeless && z.capabilities.mobile is not enough to detect Gaia, fwiw.)
I think this is all good to go, it's on a branch, I'll wait till more of packaged apps lands before landing it however.

This requires a change to X-Sendfile to allow serving out of the:

/mnt/netapp_amo_dev/addons-dev.allizom.org/files/...

Directory. This might change as we figure out signing and other things.
