Just noticed that we still perform pango library check even if pango disabled. Also found that if test "$USE_FC_FREETYPE"; then if test "$COMPILE_ENVIRONMENT"; then - does one more override to FT2 flag, modules so fontconfig appendix need to be moved to after that.
