Details

My location bars in all windows stopped updating, showing a URL I had visited
some time ago.

To see what would happen with a new window, I started one. However, nothing I
could do could get any content to show up (typing in location bar, clicking on a
toolbar icon, selecting a bookmark or selecting from the history). All these
things seemed to work, except no input.

Also, middle clicking on a URL would start a new window, but not load any content.

Aside from this the browser seemed to be operating normally. First time I've
seen this, so obviously not repeatable.

Build ID: 2001042608 for Linux (Installer)
One more test I just performed. Typing in a URL in the location bar, even a
total nonsense one, re-loads the current page.

Also, some JS errors on the console:

are you still seeing this with a new build? This worksforme with the
2001-04-30-08 linux build.
Like I said, I've never seen this before either, so I can't reproduce it. I was
mainly hoping the JS errors would give some clue
I'm now getting this behaviour in build 2001050608, Win-talkback, W95B
Marking NEW.

Worksforme with 053004 mozilla win32 build on win2K and win98, 053008 mozilla

Reporter: Is this still a problem with a more recent build ?
I've not seen this bug more than the first time (not reproducible), so I don't
really know.
In build 2001100303 Win2k Chinese
The location bar stop updating..
I click many links and the URL keep the same one that I explicitly typed in it
long time ago.

build 2001100403
Click on a link (A) in Personal Toolbar,
Location Bar show and load the link
Then neither
1. select a link from location bar dropdown history
or
2. click the Mozilla logo on the top-right
the location bar still show link (A).
