Details
1) Open Firefox 2) Go to http://google.com 3) Long press "Web" (top left) to activate text selection 4) Press the tab bar button 5) Close the tab bar by pressing the currently selected tab. Expected: The text I selected, "Web", should remain highlighted and I can continue to interact with it. Actual: The text highlighting disappears as the tab bar closes. Alternatively, pressing the tab bar should cancel text selection entirely and make it immediately obvious. It's frustrating to see the text remain highlighted, implying I can later interact with it but de-highlight once the tab bar closes. Relevant interactions that cause cancelling are (at least) closing a tab (swipe and tapping the "X") and clicking the current tab to close the tab bar. Clicking the page causes no problems and adding a new tab should not expect to keep text selection.
