Hm, the code in FilteringWrapper should do the right thing here. I wrote an XPCShell test to reproduce the behavior, but it seems to work fine. Attaching the testcase. To run it, apply it to the tree and do: SOLO_FILE=js/xpconnect/tests/unit/test_bug784228.js make -C js/xpconnect/tests/ check-one Gregor, can you figure out what changes need to be made to it to reproduce the issue you're seeing?
