Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu/12.04 Chromium/18.0.1025.168 Chrome/18.0.1025.168 Safari/535.19

Steps to reproduce:

1) I Navigated to our site which is a Flash flipbook at http://read.uberflip.com/i/37526
2) I was using FF version 14.0.1 and Flash versions:
11.3.300.271 (Released 8/14/2012)
11.3.300.270 (Released 8/02/2012)
11.3.300.268 (Released 7/26/2012)
3) I tested all the above versions of Flash and each caused our flipbook to crash
4) When I downgraded my Flash version to 11.3.300.265, the flipbook no longer crash
Note: we have implemented a terrible workaround in the meantime, which detects this configuration and alerts our clients to downgrade Flash if they are using FF 14.0.1

Actual results:

Certain Flash versions in conjunction with FF 14.0.1 cause our flipbook to crash.

Expected results:

The flipbook should not crash.
OS: Linux → Windows 7
Hardware: x86 → x86_64
I would add that the widgets are loaded in an iframe on top of the flash flipbook, and they too contain flash - that seems to be the combo that kills it.
For me, with Fx 14.0.1 and Flash 11.4.402.265, there are no crashes.
Does it happen for you with this configuration?
If so, can you provide a crash ID from about:crashes?
This configuration works for me. It seems like the only config that doesn't work is FF 14.0.1 and Flash 11.3.300.271, 11.3.300.270, and 11.3.300.268. Please feel free to close this ticket, or do I need to?
