User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120715 Firefox/14.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.11
Build ID: 20120715043840

Steps to reproduce:

I visited YouTube after the update - http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=SDbQ5xvsrIU , or just go to http://www.youtube.com/ and try any video you choose.
I visited http://symptoms.webmd.com/
I visited Flash test site
I visited other Flash based sites

I uninstalled and reinstalled Flash from Ubuntu Software Center

Actual results:

None of these sites worked - no Flash content was displayed.

The Flash test failed.

Addons Manager, Plugins shows Shockwave Flash, 11.2 r 202 . Nothing else there mentions Flash at all.

Expected results:

Flash content should be displayed in all these locations.

I tried the same locations in FireFox. All worked as they should.
OK, fixed it. The update caused an error in my profile. So:
1) Create a new profile, name doesn't matter.
2) Change to that profile.
3) Verify Flash works
4) Change back to original profile
5) Verify Flash works
6) Delete new profile, if desired
Adobe's flash plugin for Gecko (Firefox/SeaMonkey etc) now runs in protected mode by default. This mode is known to be buggy as heck so I'm not surprised. See if there is a newer version of Flash, they seem to have a new update every week.
