User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1
Build ID: 20120614114901

Steps to reproduce:

OS is restarted with Firefox running (mandated OS restart on work desktop)
Firefox is started, resumes session from prior to restart
Switch panorama tab grouping from the one Firefox starts in (pictures of cats) to the one with pages that require HTTP auth (work sharepoint)
Open a sharepoint tab, get presented with HTTP auth dialog
Fill out form

Actual results:

Tab pops out of window, into a new window by itself. This behavior is intermittent

Expected results:

It should have stayed in its original window.
Erik, Do you still see this problem when using a current version?

Wayne -

I'm not sure what version of Firefox is currently pushed to the office desktops (where I have access to stuff that causes this problem). Let me test for you this week and follow up.

I can confirm this bug occurs intermittently on 29.0.

Extensions installed: DownThemAll! 2.0.17, Firebug 1.12.8, Readability 2.4, Selenium IDE 2.4.0, Symantec Vulnerability Protection 12.2.0.5 - 1, User Agent Switcher 0.7.3
Does it happen with Firefox started in safe mode?
