Steps to reproduce:

I want to create a advanced search with a lot of condition, and I need to use parenthesis in Custom Search.


Actual results:

When I click left parenthesis, there will be a error:

And there is no right parenthesis display.

I use internet explorer 8, Google's Chrome is OK.


Expected results:

After Clicking every left parenthesis, there should be a right parenthesis to use.

I cannot reproduce with IE9. I don't have IE8 to play with.

But Windows XP system can not install IE 9, which only available with Windows 7?
