[GitHub issue by tonychung on 2012-09-14T23:18:50Z, https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/issues/4754] Is there a way to name the device what you want, and have that appear when connected via USB Device storage? Currently, it just appears as NO_NAME. iphone and Android allows a naming convention to appear (eg. "Device01234", or " Tony's Phone", ) See screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/ne2nz.png ## Environment : * Otoro daily: 9-14-2012 * gaia commit: a9c60fd5ff529f8b16f9666c08a214132f906d5d * gecko commit: ad701a757cea29fc2e1de50b4619c64b84ea6223 ## Repro : 1. Launch Settings > Device Storage 2. Enable USB Mass storage 3. connect to a Desktop, and search for the device in your folder 4. Verify it comes up as NO_NAME ## Expected: * Have a friendlier naming for USB devices. Preferably one you can customize, but certainly something that sounds more device specific ## Actual: * Name is NO_NAME
