I imported contacts from my SIM card and wondered for a long time why the contacts app keeps sorting/listing them under "#" until I realized (by editing and checking for this specifically) that they all had a leading space in their names. This is unexpected and confusing as a user. I can see two possible solutions: Either stripping the leading spaces when importing contacts and/or saving them to the contacts DB, or ignoring them when arranging/sorting them for displaying in the app.

This feels like a corner case, and polish at best. Per b2g-drivers, no feature/polish work will be marked as blocking, and will require driver approval to land. Marking as blocking-, please get approval from Vivien before landing.
