did you mean, "facebook chat bar still appears despite social API *disabled*?"
nope, I meant that when I go to my actual FB page I get a double chat bar.
I see this occasionally too.  It is an issue with Facebook - I'll report it to them.
We're tracking this with Facebook, no need to track it here. We do need some way of tracking provider issues that are visible to our users/triagers, though, so let's figure out a way to do that.
