* Why : I try to grow the audience for this blog (part of my quarterly goals) so I need to measure progress and effectiveness of posts and campaigns.
* Tracking user interactions: YES.
** I would be interested in seeing if tweeting brings readers, and to what extent. 
** I try to do a call to action at the end and send readers to Mozilla properties. It would be nice to know to what extent people click on these links from my articles. 
* Who would have access to the reports: I would not mind having these public. If it's not possible or is not Mozilla's policy, then at least 2 people (my manager Mark Coggins) and myself. Or all paid staff, or Mozillians. 
* Email: my Google account is tnitot@mozilla.com, just like my corporate email address.

Let me know if you need additional info. I'm looking forward Google Analytics running on my blog!

This has been implemented as a profile under blog.mozilla.org. This profile uses the same tracking code as blog.mozilla.org, once tracking is implemented on that site this should be working.

That's fantastic. I've just logged on Google Analytics, and I can see the profile. 0 visitors for now, of course, but it's definitely a step in the right direction!.

Let's keep this open until the code is physically placed in the Wordpress template and that Tristan can log in and see data. I don't like closing these out until the end-user can see the reports.
