I get this error message when I am trying to submit a new query. Is this an 
known problem

Software error:
Couldn't create null shadow/1140 at ./processmail line 605.
Couldn't creat null apears to mean the shadow directory didn't exist so it 
tried to create it and failed.  Make sure there's a directory inside of your 
bugzilla directory called "shadow" and that the webserver user can write to it.

checksetup.pl is supposed to do this automatically... being that your on bug 
number 1140 it seems that you've been using bugzilla for a while... did 
somebody recently delete or change permissions on the "shadow" directory?
Thanks for the help, something had happen with the rights on the shadow folder. 
So when i changed the rights, bugzilla worked again. 
I Shall try to upgrade the bugzilla to the newest release. :o)
