812725 - Repack emulator with gecko

I've been able to unpack system.img, "install" gecko, and repack the system.img, but when I try running tests against this img without --gecko-path, they seem to hang.

I'm not sure if this is because the img is no longer valid, or the tests have an issue running without --gecko-path, or something else.

I'm going to try a few more things.  If this is unsuccessful, we may need to provide full emulator builds.

The tests run ok locally without --gecko-path.  We'll probably need to run this patch locally and see what shows up in logcat.

It looks like the image is bad.  B2G doesn't boot, and 'adb shell' hangs.

Ok.  Investigating how I need to repack this properly.

In the meantime, does the retry approach look like it's improving things?

I think so.  All emulator tests have been green since landing the retry change on inbound, but given the intermittent nature of the problem, it will probably take another day at least to have confidence that it's fixed.

Our current workaround of retrying in mozharness is staying green for now.
We may want to go back to either repacking the emulator or full emulator builds post-Dec10, but this is not a blocker for that date.

Afaik we haven't been successful in repacking the emulator to date.
I think we should aim for full emulator builds at some point; that's tracked on the b2g-builds etherpad still.
