Accessibility instantiation is a the flag "A11Y_INSTANTIATED_FLAG". I'd like to know what percentage of Android users have this set.
Kairo is this easier/faster to pull out of socorro?
We might be able to pull out the percentage of crash reports that have a11y enabled, but that's different from the percentage of installations or users - we don't get crash reports from people who don't crash, and we get more reports from those that crash often. The sample is very biased. If you can get this from telemetry, the sample would still be biased, but from all we know it's much less biased than the crash reports sample.
Thanks. So this bug seems valid.
Annie, do you know we can find the answer here? (please ignore comments 1 2 and 3 for now)
Is this from Socorro?

Preferably from our telemetry data ping. We note whether accessibility is used via the flag in comment 0.
Note I expect it to be extremely low considering the slow adoption of Android by the mobile users who are bind, but I'd like to track usage moving forward.
I'm guessing this is still desired, but telemetry is well within the hands of bsmedberg, so I'm cc'ing him on this bug.
rvitillo can you mentor davidb and show him how to collect this information using spark?
